For Family Home Evening on Monday, May 3, please have your family watch Elder Jeffrey R. Holland bearing testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.

Not only will it be inspirational, but if all reachable members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints would watch it on YouTube on that day, the video could potentially be promoted to the YouTube home page, based on volume of views. 11 million people go to the home page of YouTube every day and click on the videos there.

Please tell all your family, friends, and neighbors. For more information, see The Book of Mormon/YouTube Challenge page on Facebook.

You can watch it below, or follow the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkKblIMfmjI

Slow Down, Ponder, Pray

"We live in a noisy, contentious world, where it is possible to be viewing or listening to information, music, or even pure nonsense virtually every waking hour. If we want to have the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, we must find time to slow down, ponder, pray, and live so we are worthy to receive and act upon His promptings."

--Elder Quentin L. Cook, "We Follow Jesus Christ," April 2010 General Conference

Strong Christians

"We need strong Christians who can persevere against hardship, who can sustain hope through tragedy, who can lift others by their example and their compassion, and who can consistently overcome temptations. We need strong Christians who can make important things happen by their faith and who can defend the truth of Jesus Christ against moral relativism and militant atheism."
