Seeing, Hearing, and Learning
If you only see with your eyes and hear with your ears, you'll miss out on a lot.
"Physically you can see with eyes and hear with ears and touch and feel and learn. Through your intellect, you learn most of what you know about the world in which we live. But if you learn by reason only, you will never understand the Spirit and how it works—regardless of how much you learn about other things."

New Way of Thinking
There are unprecedented rifts in our society. We are inundated with culture wars, class warfare, war on terror, sputtering economy, massive indebtedness, stubborn unemployment and a deepening divide in our culture.
The people we elect as problem solvers are increasingly seen as the problem. There's an unprecedented level of dysfunction and paralysis. At the heart of this congressional gridlock is a steadily growing partisanship.
Stephen R. Covey provides a third alternative in his article "Third alternative thinking transcends gridlock, finds solutions."

Broken iPad
Watch this video of a baby treating a printed magazine like an iPad, confused as to why it’s not working. Notice how she tries to pinch and swipe the pages. At one point, she even presses her finger into her leg to be sure her finger is still working.

Abortions Are Sacred Work
Planned Parenthood is America’s leading abortion chain. They performed 332,278 abortions in 2009!
A new banner hanging from Planned Parenthood’s Virginia Beach building reads “Planning for parenthood is sacred work."
How long are we going to allow this to continue? And to add insult to injury, you're helping to fund those abortions through your tax dollars. In the fiscal year ending 2009, the organization took in $1.1 billion. Of that total, $363 million came out of your pocket through federal, state, and local taxes.

Do Great Work
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do... If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on." --Steve Jobs 1955-2011

Men are in trouble
For the first time in history, women are better educated, more ambitious and arguably more successful than men. The warning signs are beyond finance and employment. Men are more distant from a family or their children than they have ever been. Read "Why men are in trouble."
