Just when we thought we had a real hover skateboard like the one in the movie Back to the Future, Mattell breaks the news that all it will do is “glide” over most surfaces and make multiple whooshing sounds, but it will not float over the ground like in the film.

How disappointing. By this time in life, I thought we'd have flying cars like in the Jetsons, not to mention a hover board!

They will be taking orders for it March 1–20, 2012. Because it is such a high-cost item, there will be a minimum number of orders required to go into production.

Good Fairy

A man and his wife, now in their 60's, were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. On their special day a good fairy came to them and said that because they had been so good that each one of them could have one wish.

The wife wished for a trip around the world with her husband.

Whoosh! Immediately she had airline/cruise tickets in her hands.

The man wished for a female companion 30 years younger...

Whoosh...immediately he turned ninety!!!
