Mayan Calendar
A Mayan calendar just found in the northeastern
corner of Guatemala appears to be the oldest known Maya calendar.
Although some cultists believed that the Maya calendar predicts a major cataclysm — perhaps
the end of the world — on Dec. 21, 2012, this new calendar projects thousands
of years into the future.
